Entertainers have one of the best and hardest jobs in the world. Night after night, they put themselves on the line in the hopes of connecting with an audience and evoking an emotional response. Some performers are born with amazing stage presence, but if you weren’t, that’s okay. Stage presence is definitely something that can be learned and improved over time.
To be a good entertainer, there are two main characteristics to have.
The first is is a talent that audiences want to see, and the second is that you must be comfortable performing in front of others.
It can be intimidating to perform in front of a crowd of strangers. Good entertainers take whatever time is necessary to perfect their talent.
Musicians spend countless hours learning to play music, and actors spend equal amounts of time memorizing lines and learning to convey emotion nonverbally.
Unfortunately, there is no shortcut to being a good entertainer. It takes time, commitment, and guidance from other successful entertainers.
